Break out the bubbly and the cigars: Michael Buble and his wife, model Luisana Lopilato, are expecting their first child later this year -- and they just found out it's a boy.

The happy couple shared the news with the New York Post's Page Six gossip desk, with Buble telling the paper, "We are so excited. We have just come from the hospital, and the sonogram was pretty clear, it’s a boy! We are thrilled."

These are pretty exciting times overall for Lopilato, who's apparently very happy that the Catholic church's new pope -- christened Pope Francis earlier this week -- is from her home country of Argentina. "She said, ‘It is a sign!,’" Buble told the Post, quipping, "But there’s no way we are going to call him Frank, even if it did work well for Frank Sinatra."

Baby Buble first made the news in late January, when his famous parents shared the news of his pending arrival with a short video that set their sonogram against Buble's recording of 'Haven't Met You Yet.' And speaking of recordings, Buble fans can look forward to a new LP on April 23, when his eighth studio set, 'To Be Loved' -- which he's described as being about "love, happiness, fun and yummy things" -- arrives in the States.
