Michael Buble and Reese Witherspoon teamed up for the Frank and Nancy Sinatra song 'Somethin' Stupid,' which appears as 'Something Stupid' (with a "g") on the crooner's 'To Be Loved' album, out April 23. While Witherspoon won an Oscar for her portrayal of country singer June Carter Cash in 'Walk the Line,' we never expected her to pair up on a pop vocal like this! How's it sound?

It's a quiet pairing, with Buble carrying the song. No surprise there, since he's the one with the big voice. They harmonize, but if we didn't tell you this was Reese Witherspoon, you probably wouldn't know.

She's not a dynamic vocalist nor does she stand out. But then again, she's an actress, so we don't expect her to be some closet vocal dynamo or she'd have chosen a different profession or she'd be the popular singer/actress hyphenate.

We wish it had a little more oomph. TBH, it's a little "meh" and it's snoozy for a duet featuring an A-lister. But Buble's such a charming crooner that he holds our attention. Perhaps that was the point -- he didn't want to have to battle some big belter.
