Michelle Williams Defends Beyonce Friendship, Talks Baby Blue Ivy on Twitter

Will the drama surrounding the birth of Blue Ivy Carter never cease? While the entire celeb world reacted on Twitter and online, from Gwyneth Paltrow correcting name reports to Rihanna referring to herself as "Aunt Ri," fans got all up in Michelle Williams' business!

Beyonce's former Destiny's Child groupmate did not issue a congratulatory tweet about Blue Ivy's birth. Although fans assumed Williams didn't care or that she and Bey are not tight any longer, that is not the case, says an irritated Ms. Williams.

Williams actually dignified the comments with a Twitter response and posted:"Let's get ONE thing straight ... I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they're NOT on twitter." Bey doesn't tweet, so why tweet about the baby when she can simply call or text Bey to say it on a more personal level? She has a point there.

Williams also tweeted: "This is a beautiful, precious, private time between two people and excitement is to be expected but NOT disrespect!"

She also claimed that she talks and emails with Bey all the time and will be physically present to meet Blue Ivy up close and personal. Williams tweeted, "My friendship with people aren't always for twitter display. Respect that and get a LIFE!!! Enjoy this FINE day!!! God bless!!!!"
