Miley Cyrus Forces Her Father to Cancel Appearance on ‘The View’ – Gossip Report

As PopCrush recently reported, Billy Ray Cyrus has been talking to the press lately about his daughter, Miley Cyrus, and not in a good way. In an interview with GQ, Billy Ray Cyrus compared his daughter to Anna Nicole Smith and went on to say that the television show 'Hannah Montana' ripped his family to pieces.

Billy Ray Cyrus was scheduled for an interview on 'The View,' however, Miley is now taking control of the situation. The multi-talented teen forced her father to cancel his appearance in fears of him talking more smack.

A friend of the Cyrus family spoke with PopEater on the situation, saying, "When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts. Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."

"At first Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things by the magazine," the insider went on to say. "Miley truly wanted to give her father the benefit of the doubt, goodness knows she's said things she wishes she could take back. But after she found out about his media trip to New York, no more excuses could be made."

PopEater has also said that Billy Ray Cyrus' rep has indeed confirmed that the trip to New York City was canceled. You go, Miley! You've let your papa ride your coattails for too long!
