Miley Cyrus may consistently stay in the news for her controversial, well, everything, but her performance on Australia's 'Sunrise' this past Monday shows why she doesn't have to rely on scandal to stay popular: her killer vocals do that for her.

Proving once again that she isn't limited to just one genre of music, Miley nailed it during an impressive performance at the famed Sydney Opera House. Performing two of her hit singles, 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball,' Miley put forth the energy and gusto we've come to expect from her live shows over the years -- but the audience was in for a real surprise when Miley played a jaw-dropping cover of the Etta James classic 'I'll Take Care of You' (posted above).

There aren't too many singers out there who can do Etta James justice, but Miley certainly comes close here. She belts out the song with so much emotion and such finesse that even non-Miley fans might be converted. It wouldn't be the first time. Her Backyard Sessions cover of country legend -- and godmother to Miley! -- Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' is a noted fan favorite, because it displays an unexpected but totally soulful side to her that the general public rarely sees.

According to Just Jared, Miley reportedly told the crowd, "It really doesn't bother me when people tell me I'm crazy because I am." Crazy talented? Definitely.
