Miley Cyrus + Katy Perry Attend Elton John’s 2012 Oscar Party

Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry are best known as singers. Despite dabbling in acting, they still enjoyed 2012 Oscar festivities at Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. Yesterday (Feb.26), the pop divas got all dressed up and hit the City of West Hollywood Park in Beverly Hills for the event. Hey, there's always a reason for a pop star to don her best dress, right?

According to AceShowbiz, Cyrus, 19, was poured into a long-sleeved, backless Robert Cavalli gown on the arm of her BF, Liam Hemsworth. The dress boasted an intricate detailing on the sides and a flirty train. Cyrus channeled Old Hollywood Glam with her wavy hair, winged black eyeliner and dramatic, crimson lips.

Perry, 27, wore a silver and gray, black-sequined column-like number with short sleeves by Blumarine. She was a portrait of a goddess, that's for sure. Her bright blue asymmetrical bob is still in full effect, lending an edge to her gown. It was not clear who Perry brought as a date, if anyone. She's still licking her wounds from her split with Russell Brand, so we don't blame her if she went a la carte.

Other "stars" like Kim Kardashian were also in attendance.
