Despite her sometimes controversial image, Miley Cyrus clearly cares about making a difference in the world. She's the new face of MAC Cosmetics and has partnered with the company to release a line of lipsticks whose total proceeds will go toward helping those affected by HIV and AIDS.

In an interview with 'Good Morning America' (which you can check out above), she expanded on the point behind the campaign, elaborating on her reasoning for partnering with MAC. She said, "I think empowering those affected by HIV and to kind of give them this hope and know that there's people out there that are fighting for them, especially not just for the cure but to end this kind of stereotype. I think it's fun for young people to get to buy lipstick and know that it's going to change the way their future is gonna be."

The video also touches on Miley's feelings about being seen as a role model. While many celebrities often shy away from it -- totally understandable, considering the amount of pressure that comes with that particular title -- Miley embraces it. She said, "I can actually say I am [a role model] for what I know of what is important to teach people. And what is important to teach people is that you can't judge other people."

As for some levity, Miley also admits in the interview that she can't spell her new boyfriend's last name. And to be completely honest, were it not for Google, we probably wouldn't be able to spell Schwarzenegger either.
