Miley Cyrus Performs at Starkey Hearing Gala
Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus attended the 11th annual Starkey Hearing Foundation 'So The World May Hear Awards Gala,' which was held at the River Centre in St. Paul, Minn. As you can see in these pictures, Miley hit the red carpet looking ultra-glam, rocking an one-sleeved black gown with an asymmetrical neckline. Her hair looked polished in a loose updo, while her pink lips and sun-kissed complexion made her blue eyes really pop.
Inside of the gala, which raises funds to provide hearing aids to audibly impaired children around the globe, Cyrus performed, changing into her signature rock stage look as she donned leather pants and a leopard print corset. Before she took the stage, Miley spoke about her empathy for those who are hearing impaired. She told MyFox9 that her family is "connected through music" and that if one of her family members "couldn't hear and be involved in the music with me, that connection wouldn't be the same." Bill Clinton, Marlee Matlin and several others were also honored at the gallery for their philanthropic work.
In addition to her attendance and performance, Cyrus also bid on a won a trip to Haiti. She tweeted about the auction, saying, "Going back to Haiti : ) just bid at the @starkeyhearing gala and it's confirmed! I am so excited! Bringing all my friends this time. #blessed."
