Miley Cyrus covers V's 'Drawn to Fashion' issue three times as part of a tri-fold cover. The issue hits newsstands May 9, but we've got some pics of her punk princess look and some big reveals.

Shot by Mario Testino, the singer shows lots of skin, but she also goes deep and reveals why you don't always see her with fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

In the pics, there's lots of underboob and butt cleavage showing. So don't say we didn't warn you.

Cyrus also shares what it was like to make big changes, such as to work with producer Pharrell Williams and to chop off her hair.

Cyrus, who was interviewed alongside Williams, didn't hold back on anything. As for the pervasive rumors that she and Hemsworth are kaput? Calm down, gossip hounds. Doing things on their own doesn't mean splitsville.

Chalk it up to busy schedules that prevent them from spending time together 24/7. "I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time," she said. "We work. Every week it’s 'Are they broken up? Because we don’t see a photo of them.' I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio."

Cyrus admitted that it's her new music that comes first, confessing, "I put his record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”

With that commitment made, Williams was able to help her be free in the studio and to wrest her away from her former Disney image. "It was the first time I was in the studio just being really free," the former Hannah Montana said. "Pharrell opened that door. At the end of the day, it's what me and P are making…I could keep doing this forever, just making this record.”

Cyrus may be changing her musical style up, but she's not embarrassed about her past, which was lucrative and is actually what allows her to do what she wants now, since she doesn't have to worry about making that paper! “I can never say that I don’t love 'Party in the U.S.A.,' and that I’m not appreciative of it," she mused. "It would like my dad saying that he hated 'Achy Breaky.' It’s what gives you everything that you have. I would never take it back.”

While Cyrus will forever be Hannah Montana to some, she sees herself very differently. “In my mind, I’m Gucci Mane, but on paper, I’m a pop artist," she declared.

Her much-discussed "chop heard 'round the world," came up, too. "I’m going to change, I’m going to be different, I’m going to do what I want to do," Cyrus said. "I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back.”

Spoken like a true wannabe punk rock rebel.
