Both Miley Cyrus and Rihanna dared to bare at the 2014 amfAR LA Inspirational Gala. Which lady of pop rocked the nearly topless look better?

Miley chose to don an intricate black leather number with a sultry, sheer fabric underneath. Of course, the black straps on the ensemble were strategically placed very carefully, though we don't think she would have minded if they happened to slip. We love how the 'Wrecking Ball' singer paired her badass look with a matching smoky eye -- the perfect compliment to the daring outfit.

Thanks to the flesh-colored bust of her dress, Rihannna kind of looks like she's rocking sparkly pasties on her chest -- which definitely add an eye-popping element to her otherwise straight-laced, Marilyn Monroe-esque gown. Ri-Ri is always one to play with her sense of style (and we love how she's not afraid to go bold), so while her amfAR look may not be totally shocking, it is still very uniquely Rihanna. And we admire her for it.
