Miranda Cosgrove Stars in New Video from Indie Rock Outfit Best Coast

iCarly actress Miranda Cosgrove is among a handful of stars who appear in 'Our Deal,' a new music video from L.A. indie rock band Best Coast that was directed by Drew Barrymore.

The clip is a modern-day 'West Side Story,' with rival gangs the Day Trotters and Night Creepers fighting over territory while a secret romance develops between members of warring gangs. The cute, sanitized video features a surprise ending involving a big-time "oops" moment on the part of a central character.

Cosgrove stars with Chloe Moretz, Tyler Posey, Donald Glover and Alia Shawkat. Cosgrove is a member of the Night Creepers who is attacked, prompting her gang to seek revenge on the Day Trotters.

Cosgrove told MTV that being on the set with the director was intimidating at first: "I've been watching Drew Barrymore movies ever since I was really little, so I was nervous to meet her, and then she's just really like your best friend. She's really laid-back."

The actress ultimately enjoyed the experience working with Barrymore: "She was really excited to be doing the video and super into it. She directed the whole video, which was really cool. It was really surreal."
