Misty Upham Died From Blunt-Force Injuries to Head and Torso

According to PEOPLE, the King County medical examiner's office has ruled ‘August: Osage County’ actress Misty Upham died from blunt-force injuries to her head and torso before falling into a ravine earlier this year. Police have said that her death appears to have been an accident, but they are not entirely sure as to what exactly transpired, or what led her to the ravine. They are not, however, reporting any foul play at the moment. It appears as though her death is the result of a tragic accident, which is what Misty's family believes happened to her.

News of Misty’s disappearance was first reported by her family and friends in October of this year, where she was reported as being possibly suicidal. Her body was found a few days later in a ravine that was later confirmed to be Misty.

Her family has since spoken out against the Auburn, Wash., police department, posting on Facebook about the mistreatment they and Misty received over the years. She was 32-years-old when she died. Our thoughts continue to go out to the Upham family during this difficult time.
