Mitchel Musso recently premiered his video for the song 'Open the Door,' and in the clip, Musso is preparing himself to move on from the heartbreak he endured after breaking up with a girl.

'Open the Door' begins with a shot of the former 'Hannah Montana' actor opening a set of large doors from a dark building. As he steps into the sunlight, the metaphorical and literal aspects of the song's title and lyrics are present, since he is getting ready to leave his heartache behind by exiting the building that was holding him in that state of mind.

The video continues as Musso takes one final stroll down memory lane, dancing and singing around an abandoned railroad yard. As the pounding drums kick in before the chorus, the 19-year-old singer has black-and-white flashbacks to the happy and not-so-happy times during his relationship with a girl.

Musso's 'Open the Door' video does get the singer's point across in a simple way, however, the actor might have been taking the theatrics a bit over-the-top in the clip. What is up with all of those violent arm movements? He looks like he is attempting to take flight! Despite this, Musso's song has a catchy tune, and the barren landscape that he chose for his shoot accurately portrays his loneliness.

The song 'Open the Door' is featured on Musso's EP 'Brainstorm,' which is available for purchase on iTunes now.
