Georgia native Monica grew up before our eyes, and has established herself as one of the most soulful songbirds in R&B. In 1995, at the tender age of 13, she dropped her debut LP, 'Miss Thing,' and has enjoyed a fruitful recording career ever since.

Born and raised in College Park, Ga., Monica honed her vocal skills by singing in the church choir when she was 8 years old. Throughout her teenage years, she was mentored by some of the singing greats including Mary J. Blige and the late Whitney Houston.

Now, at age 32, she's a Grammy-winning artist, doting mom and happily-married wife to NBA baller Shannon Brown.

With a career spanning over 17 years, the 'Boy Is Mine' singer is the first artist to top the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts in three decades -- the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. Monica is currently working on her eight album for RCA Records.
