Most Anticipated Album Release for May 2013 – Readers Poll

There are tons of awesome album releases slated for May 2013, from Demi Lovato's much buzzed-about, eponymous LP to Daft Punk's first studio album since 2005. Obviously, from that comparison, there's a bit of everything in the mix, so pop, R&B, electro and rock fans are sure to have lots of new material on their iPods or Spotify playlists. But, out of all the albums due in May 2013, which are you most excited for?

On May 7, 98 Degrees will reunite on record with their first official LP in 13 years! The quartet will make our late '90s dreams come true when they dish out their new batch of '2.0' tracks, and fans can expect to see the guys perform their new songs live when they head out on their joint tour with NKOTB and Boyz II Men in May 2013.

The following Tuesday, May 14, will be a big day for Lovatics and pop fans alike, as Demi Lovato is set to unleash her fourth studio album, 'Demi.' The LP will boast her stick-in-your-head chart-topper 'Heart Attack,' as well as a bunch of other soon-to-be hits, if her past track record is any indication.

On May 21, there will be quite a variety of fresh tunes to choose from, as Jay Sean, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Daft Punk will all be dropping new albums. British pop hit maker Jay Sean is expected to release his first album since 2009 this May, entitled 'Neon,' and the same goes for Thirty Seconds to Mars -- the alt-rock band is letting fans in on a batch of brand-new tunes with ‘Love Lust Faith + Dreams,' their first LP since 2009's 'This Is War.'

However, there's no doubt Daft Punk have both aforementioned artists beat for biggest comeback album, as fans eagerly await the French duo's latest crop of pulse-pounding beats on 'Random Access Memories.'

Finally, on May 28, the last day of musical releases for May 2013, British girl group Little Mix are slated to release their spunky debut 'DNA' (featuring singles like 'How Ya Doin'' and 'Wings') in the U.S. Additionally, acclaimed R&B cronner / producer The-Dream will get us in the mood with his new album 'IV Play.'
