Ever since Girls Aloud officially quit us in 2013 via Twitlonger statement (not letting that one go anytime soon), life's gone cold and all music released ever since has been objectively terrible.

Until now, that is.

Nadine Coyle, 2017 Specsavers Ambassador and "My Sexy Love Affair" solo chanteuse, is coming back. Like, actually.

Consider this Nuhdeen 3.0. (Or is it 4.0 at this point?)

Following a report in The Sun, Virgin EMI confirmed in a tweet on Monday (Jul. 24) that the lead hairflipper and powerhouse vocalist of the group — second only to Cheryl Tweedy Cole Fernandez-Versini Payne, of course — is indeed making a return to the music scene.

"Well THIS is some exciting news @NadineCoyleNow. SO pleased to welcome you to the VEMI fam," the record label wrote.

"thank you for having me!!! I am Soooooo happy to be back with the Universal family!!!" Nudz tweeted back.

Even better news? The Insatiable belter has reportedly been in the studio with the man responsible for shaping the Aloud Sound™ himself, Xenomania's Brian Higgins, for the past two years working on new music. (That sounds like a rather long time, but then, it's best not to question — we know she's not great with counting her years.)

“I’m so excited to be releasing music again. I’m nervous but really happy to be sharing them finally. It’s a dream come true to sign a solo deal with a label that’s as brilliant as Virgin EMI. The team really share my vision for the album and I can’t wait to start performing again," Nadine told The Sun.

While Girls Aloud will almost certainly never regroup again in our lifetime (never say never, but unlikely), Nadine's music with Brian Higgins is quite possibly the closest we'll ever come to reliving the glory of those Almighty Aloud days.

This is beyond exciting news — assuming there are no Tesco exclusive deals involved this time.

Make way for the grand return of Queen Nuhdeen.
