Celebrity Fight: The Fight to Reign Supreme Over New York City

We're not ones for fueling fires, but we honestly believe that the Jay-Z and Nas beef was awesome. Why? Because not only was no one hurt (they obviously were wise to not follow in Biggie and 2Pac's footsteps -- more on that tragic feud ending later), but music fans got some crazy good music out of the deal.

Jay-Z essentially started the feud with his 2001 track 'Takeover,' to which Nas responded with classic songs like 'Ether' and 'Got Ur Self a...' Finally, all bad blood was put to rest when HOV brought Nasir Jones out on stage in 2005 where they performed a mash-up of 'The World Is Yours' and 'Dead Presidents.' A significant move as Jay-Z's 'Dead Presidents' actually samples Nas' line, "I'm out for dead presidents to represent me," from 'The World Is Yours.'

Point Goes To: Both Jay-Z and Nas for settling their beef like responsible adults.
