Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka Marry in Italy

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are married!

"We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family," a rep for the happy couple told E! News.

And that family, of course, included Harper and Gideon, Harris and Burtka's 3-year-old twins who participated in the ceremony, PEOPLE reports (and who may actually be the cutest things we have ever seen.)

The celebration was also a star-studded event, officiated by 'How I Met Your Mother' producer and director Pam Fryman. And talk about live entertainment: Elton John performed at the reception!

The grooms, who both wore Tom Ford tuxedos, announced their engagement in 2011, after New York legalized gay marriage, noting they had actually proposed to each other five years prior. They have been together for over 10 years.
