After not having released an album in nearly two years, the New Boyz are coming back full force with their video for 'Backseat.' The video was directed by Jake David, who says his goal was to "[take] the best of the best of those classic [hip-hop video] moments and bringing that here."

'Backseat' was produced by electro hip-hop duo the Cataracs, and their presence is clear when you hear the heavy bass and and electronica elements within the catchy beat. Up and coming songstress Dev is also featured on the chorus, with her smooth, sexy vocals giving the rap song a feminine touch. The video also matches the song's sexually-charged lyrics and up-tempo dance beat.

The video for 'Backseat' is truly your classic hip-hop clip, filled with lots of beautiful women, fast cars, alcohol, and a hopping club scene. The opening of the video pictures the New Boyz, who are comprised of Earl "Ben J" Benjamin and Dominic "Legacy" Thomas, standing in front of a white background. The pair raps in front of a vintage silver Mercedes Benz as girls dance around them.

The car theme continues as the video plays on, with the New Boyz getting hot and steamy as they get down in the 'Backseat' of a Cadillac Escalade. The New Boyz, Dev and the Cataracs are also the center of attention in a club scene -- as Dev gets down with the ladies while the boys stand nearby watching. The camera work is one of the most commanding elements in the video, as the transition from each shot syncs well with the song's beat variation.

The song 'Backseat' will be featured on the 'Teach Me How to Jerk' hitmakers' sophomore album, 'Too Cool to Care,' which is slated for release on May 10.
