New music releases in July 2013 are not messing around.

Selena Gomez is releasing her fourth studio album, though 'Stars Dance' will not feature the backing of her band the Scene. Come July 23, fans can finally 'Come & Get It.'

Selena is in good company on July 23, too. Pop legend Mariah Carey has promised a new album, titled 'The Art of Letting Go,' on the same date. If MiMi's track '#Beautiful' gives us any hints, we know this album will be a hit.

Perhaps the most anticipated release of July (and perhaps the year), is Jay-Z's twelfth studio album titled 'Magna Carta Holy Grail.' HOV has assembled an all-star team of producers to create this album. The likes of Rick Rubin, Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have all contributed to LP, which is due out on July 4.

Chris Brown's long-awaited album 'X' will also hit stores on July 16. If his single 'Fine China' is any indication of the sound, we will not only have some serious hits on our hands, but Breezy will sing them in the tune of Michael Jackson.

Skylar Grey will also be releasing her much-delayed debut album 'Don't Look Down' on July 9. She'll be competing with a spot on the charts against Ciara, whose self-titled album also drops the same day.

Rounding out the month, pop music fans will get a little nostalgia courtesy of the Backstreet Boys, whose LP 'In a World Like This' will hit stores on July 30 in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band! Early 2000s R&B queen Ashanti will also release her album 'Braveheart' on the same day.
