New Music Releases – October 2013

As the weather gets chillier, we're looking forward to hunkering down indoors with some amazing new albums -- specifically the October releases! 

One of the most-anticipated records of the year is Miley Cyrus' 'BANGERZ.' With the club-happy hit 'We Can't Stop' and power ballad 'Wrecking Ball,' it's clear the former Disney star has a range of songs to offer. The album features plenty of collaborations, including contributions from Britney Spears, Nelly and Big Sean. Miley is calling the shots now -- and she's got a lot to say!

Another huge release dropping in October is Katy Perry's fourth studio album, 'Prism.' The project shows a more mature, toned-down side of the singer. Sorry, guys, no cupcake bustiers here! However, that doesn't mean Katy's lost her sense of humor. The video for her first single, 'Roar,' shows that she still has fun with pop music.

We're also excited for releases from not one, but two, former 'American Idol' winners! Scotty McCreery is dropping his third album, 'See You Tonight,' while Kelly Clarkson is sharing her first holiday album, 'Wrapped in Red.'
