Niall Horan has snagged the cover of the June 3 issue of Billboard magazine, and in his corresponding interview, he shares his hopes for the future of One Direction.

Horan is certain the band will reunite. He says, “When it will be, I don’t know. I prefer not to do it after I’m 40. I’d prefer the next few years.”

The singer -- who notes he is so close with Don Henley that they call each other "Dad" and "Son" -- also tells Billboard , “I told my managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, f-- what I’m doing. I don’t give a s---- if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that.”
