Being a member of one of the most famous boy bands in the world certainly comes with its perks -- just ask Niall Horan! The Irish One Direction cutie had the honor of meeting Queen Elizabeth II for the second (!) time when he greeted her today, March 26.

Horan was one of 300 prominent members of the Irish community invited to Buckingham Palace to greet Her Majesty. The Irish citizens were invited to meet the Queen ahead of their president's, Michael D Higgins, "historic" first visit to Britain in April.

As the 1D hottie graciously greeted the Queen (who is known to be notoriously stoic), Her Majesty couldn't help but smile broadly at Horan, who looked ever the gentleman in a tailored suit. It's a fact: even the Queen can't resist the charm of a perfectly groomed boy bander. (Sigh!)

But it wasn't just Queen Elizabeth who was smitten with the meeting -- clearly, Horan was thrilled beyond words after meeting the historical figure again.

"It's an absolute honour to be here with two great countries coming together. I couldn't believe it when I got the invitation," he told reporters. "To have met Her Majesty again was a great experience."

Such a great experience, in fact, that he even got a little bold.

"I might ask her if she wants to come to a show," Horan joked.

Can you imagine the Queen rocking out to 'What Makes You Beautiful'? Or maybe she'd opt for 'Story of My Life' instead.
