Niall Horan vs. Ed Sheeran vs. Kendall Schmidt: Who Should Be Selena Gomez’s Next Boyfriend? – Readers Poll
Now that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber seem to have cooled things down following the Biebs' recent antics, the 'Come and Get It' singer is single and ready to mingle. And as a world-famous pop star, Selena pretty much has her pick of the litter. She's already been linked to Niall Horan and Ed Sheeran, not to mention that she and Kendall Schmidt have a ton in common. Which pop star would you like to see end up with Selena Gomez?
Niall and Selena recently snapped a pic together in London, which immediately sparked rumors that the two are a couple. As of right now, the rumors are just hearsay, but we have to say that the singer and One Direction boybander would be a pretty perfect pair: They're close in age (Selena is 21 and Niall is 20), and you know that she has a soft spot for the slightly younger guys (Justin Bieber is two years younger than her). But maybe the best reasoning for a Siall love match is the fact that the two were supposedly set up by none other than Taylor Swift herself -- and who knows what Selena would like in a guy better than her bestie?
We already know that Ed Sheeran and Selena are friends (this past summer, he was photographed leaving her house with his guitar in tow), but is there something more brewing? In June 2013, it was rumored that the redheaded British cutie and Selena were hooking up. And guess who, once again, was reportedly behind that set up? Taylor Swift, of course. And when asked by a reporter if he would consider hooking up with one of his pop star peers, Ed replied, "I wouldn't complain." Heeey.
Kendall Schmidt and Selena have almost parallel careers: They both got their start starring on family-friendly sitcoms (Selena on Disney Channel's 'Wizards of Waverly Place,' Kendall on Nickelodeon's 'Big Time Rush'), and both soon branched out into the pop music world, with Selena recording with her band, Selena Gomez and the Scene, and also as a solo artist. Kendall did the same with Big Time Rush and later his band Heffron Drive. Both pop stars know what it's like to star on the small screen while simultaneously working on their music careers and being in the public eye, and they definitely have a ton in common.
