The semifinals for the first-ever PopCrush Homecoming Court are here. In this round, One Direction's Niall Horan is pitted against the Jonas Brothers' very own Nick Jonas. Which boy bander will assert dominance and advance another step to be crowned King? Well, that's not up to us. It's up to you!

Horan and 1D are smack dab in the middle of the promotion of last year's 'Take Me Home,' this summer's 'This Is Us' movie and the Nov. 25 release of 'Midnight Memories.' With a billion dollar business, 1D are hotter than a zillion suns. Sure, Niall is a cutie in a band full of cuties, but this is his chance to shine and rep 1D as the King of our Homecoming Court. This would be the icing on top of one very delicious cake for him.

But don't let us sway you. Nicky J. and the Jo Bros are in the middle of a "deep rift" right now, with a canceled tour and questionable status. No one knows what the future holds, other than the Bros. themselves. Why not show Nick and the boys how much you love them and need them to remain a unit by voting for him? It could provide a nice boost of self-esteem. Maybe we should be psychologists, but that's another story for another day.
