Nick Cannon Tweets From Hospital After Mild Kidney Failure

Nick Cannon, who was being treated at an Aspen, Colo. hospital for mild kidney failure this week, tweeted an update from the hospital. The husband of Mariah Carey recently posted: “Currently being transfered to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me… I will be a’ight.”
We love that the usually animated and upbeat Cannon, who is said to be in enormous pain, is keeping a positive attitude and is well enough to being transported to Los Angeles to receive further treatment in his homebase.
His pop diva wife spoke to PEOPLE about her husband’s surprising condition saying, “As always, he’s in good spirits considering the situation.” She admitted that Cannon is stable but also “in a lot of pain.”
She added, “We are hopeful that he’ll be 100 percent as soon as possible. We really appreciate everybody’s love and support.”
There were still no details as to how or why such a young man’s kidney’s endured a minor failure at this point.
