Nick Jonas to Guest on New NBC Show ‘Smash’

Nick Jonas, who is on his way back to Broadway to star in ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,’ will also supplement his schedule with a TV gig. Jonas is set to guest star on NBC’s forthcoming show ‘Smash,’ which is slated for the mid-season.

Broadway World reports that Jonas will play rising sitcom star Lyle West, who has a past as a Broadway child star. The series, which premieres Feb. 6, follows a group of people who come together to put on a Broadway musical in the modern age.

So Jonas is hanging out on Broadway quite a bit, in both the live, literal sense and in the small screen sense.

Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston star in the series, as well. Perhaps Nick Jonas will impress viewers and producers and his role will become a recurring.

With Joe Jonas about to launch ‘Fastlife’ in a few days, and Nick Jonas racking up roles, it begs the question: What is Kevin Jonas up to? He’s probably enjoying wedded bliss. It seriously does appear as though Nick is headed for an acting career since he is picking up roles with such regularity.
