Nicki Minaj is mad as hell and she's not gonna take it anymore! The Queen Barbz fired some verbal shots at former 'American Idol' judge Steven Tyler over comments he made about the new 'Idol' judges.

In an MTV News interview, the Aerosmith rocker felt that the new judging panel, which includes Nicki, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban, weren't sufficient to nurture talent on the show. He theorizes -- hypothetically -- that if Bob Dylan was a contestant on the show he would have been kicked out instantly without given a chance to grow and develop.

"It needs to be birthed, not judged by 'entertainment' factors, it needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the 'it' factor," Tyler says. "Not the 'it' factor because they can fight. The f--- is that all about?"

"These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they're in New York City, they're scared to death; you're not going to get the best [out of them]," he continues. "If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with [last year's 'American Idol'] Phillip Phillips. Just saying."

Apparently, Minaj didn't like Tyler's opinion and lashed out at him on her Twitter feed. "Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven't seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet!" she tweeted.

She then wrote this vitriolic missive: "You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f--- yourself and worry about yourself babe." Ouch!

"LOL lets make him a shirt that says 'No Coloreds Allowed' then escort him down 2 Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened w/guns," she added, referring to Mimi's comments on 'The View.'

Minaj finally ended her rant accusing Tyler of being an opportunist. "When Steven 1st went on Idol he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike. Called a sell out. So what does he do? Ridicule the next judge," she wrote.

We have to say that Tyler's comments were off base considering he hasn't seen Minaj critique talent on 'American Idol.' All three judges -- Minaj, Carey and Urban -- are established artists with years of varying experiences, so we think they are more than capable of nurturing talent.

Granted, the cat fight between Minaj and Carey was a low point in the show's history, but it shouldn't effect the way the two divas will judge talent on the show. It was a minor distraction, which Minaj says has been smoothed over.
