Nicki Minaj continues to slay with 'Anaconda'!

Vevo announced today via its Twitter feed that the video for 'Anaconda' has set a record for being watched 19.6 million times during the first 24 hours after its debut.

The previous record holder was Miley Cyrus, whose 'Wrecking Ball' video received 19.3 million views after its debut in Sept. 2013.

Minaj and Cyrus engaged in a bit of a friendly quarrel on social media during the "#Hannahconda" scandal, where Cyrus posted a photo of her face on the 'Anaconda' cover. Minaj responded by posting a photo of Cyrus as Hannah Montana with the caption 'Hannah Conda,' poking fun at Cyrus' Hannah Montana days.

The video for 'Anaconda' features many shots of Minaj and her dancers scantily-dressed while they move their bottoms to the beat of the song. 'Anaconda' samples Sir Mix-a-Lot's famous 1992 hit, 'Baby Got Back.'

Congratulations to Nicki Minaj for the honor! We're curious to see who, if anyone, will top the record next.
