Nicki Minaj teased a snippet of her upcoming single ‘Bed of Lies’ featuring Skylar Grey during the 2014 EMAs, and it looks like audio of the single has finally leaked.

The track is a mid-tempo ballad, and offers an emotional outpouring on Nicki’s part, showing a different side of the rapper. Skylar Grey, who has a feature on the song, spoke with Billboard about the track saying: "She kind of poured her heart out on the verses. I personally think as a fan it’s a nice contrast to her other singles on the record. You get to see another side of her.”

The song is about a relationship gone wrong, and while we can't confirm exactly who it's about, Nicki's rumored recent split with alleged ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels might have fueled the verses. When she spits: "I just figured if you saw me, if you looked in my eyes / You’d remember our connection and be freed from the lies / I just figured I was something that you couldn’t replace / But there was just a blank stare and I couldn’t relate," it's without gimmick, leaving the song honest and heartbreaking.

‘The Pinkprint’ is slated for a Dec. 15 release, but you can check out 'Bed of Lies' in the video posted above in the meantime. (Warning: There's some NSFW language.)
