Nicki Minaj is really ticked off about leaked music, so much so that the 'Starships' rapper has deleted her Twitter account. Apparently, Minaj was so angered by fan site NickiDaily posting snippets from 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' that she punished all of her fans by quitting Twitter. The album debuted at No. 1, so we're not sure why the song postings incensed her enough to shut down her Twitter account.

Now before you gasp at the horror of a Twitterverse sans Minaj, realize that she will likely restore her account. This is probably a temporary exit from the social networking site.

According to Oh No They Didn't, Minaj tweeted that she was mad about leaked music and that she was blocking NickiDaily. She also posted: "And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz dust right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me Argentina. Like seriously, only so much a person can take. Good f---ing bye."

While she made her Twitter exit in dramatic fashion, this sayonara isn't permanent, as the pop diva has 30 days to reactivate her account and resume posting. Something tells us she'll do just that, since connecting with fans directly via 140-character tweets is essential to a pop star's survival in 2012. We're banking on the fact that Minaj will come to her senses and return to the Twitterverse sooner than later.

Quitting Twitter is likely a way to get the message across that she is not happy about the music being shared -- even though it appeared to be legal iTunes snippets -- and to perhaps generate publicity through controversy.
