Nicki Minaj Performing at 2012 Hackney Festival in London

Good news for British Barbz! Nicki Minaj has been added to the already stellar BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend, a festival in support of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.

Minaj is said to be the festival's secret performer, but it's not much of a secret anymore! The Harajuku Barbie will hit the stage on Saturday, June 23. There's still another secret performer on the bill, so those of you who like surprises don't need to be too sad!

The Female Weezy joins A-list acts like headliners Rihanna and Jay-Z as well as Jessie J, Swedish House Mafia, Flo Rida, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey. The festival runs the weekend of June 23-24 and also features Florence + the Machine, David Guetta and will.i.am. Not bad company! Maybe Katy Perry will be the surprise guest so she can keep hanging out with her rumored boytoy, Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. Just a thought!

Hopefully the festival will go over better than Summer Jam did for the 'Pink Friday' rapper. She pulled out of the Hot 97 radio concert following derogatory comments from the station's DJs and vowed to never set a foot on a Summer Jam stage again. Here's hoping no one at Hackney hates on her -- at least not until she leaves the premises!
