Nicki Minaj Draws Hair-spiration From Marge Simpson

Nicki Minaj is always expressing herself through her appearance, especially when it comes to the hair department. Minaj is known for her fantastic collection of crazy-colored wigs, and the 'Moment 4 Life' rapper-singer has been sporting one particular style lately -- the Marge Simpson.

PEOPLE recently spoke with Minaj about the sky-high wigs that have donning her dome. Minaj says, "Never did I think I would be rocking the Marge Simpson," says Minaj, whose new favorite wigs are comparable to the beehive do worn by character from the The Simpsons.' "But you know what, now that I am [wearing] them I realize that she was cutting edge and before her time. So shout out to Marge."

Minaj went on to talk about her love for wigs, saying, "My wigs are ever changing in height, width, color, size. They make me feel happy. Wearing them makes me feel that I can be a different person every day and that is kind of exciting."

As for deciding what will sit atop the rap princess' head, it all revolves around the outfit. "Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I am like, ‘This is a high-top day’ or ‘This is a bob day,’ but when I get my clothes on that’s when I see," Minaj says.

And even if Minaj is the ultimate rap diva, she has no such attitude when it comes to wearing a style more than once: "Wash it and rotate, and it is good as new." We hope she brings all of her best looks when she hits the road with Britney Spears on tour this summer!
