Good Friday (April 6) turned into Pink Friday as Nicki Minaj celebrated the release of her new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' with her Barbz in New York. According to MTV, a 1,000 fans invaded Times Square just to watch the Female Weezy perform a brief show sponsored by Nokia.

A blonde-haired Nicki, dressed in a black one-piece tiger-striped leotard, performed a medley of hits including 'Right By My Side,' 'Super Bass' and her latest chart-topping single, 'Starships.' "It's an honor for me to be here tonight. I'm from New York," she told the crowd.

As a bonus, Nicki informed the audience that they will also be appearing in a new video for the DJ Doorly remix of 'Starships.' After she exited the stage, DJ Doorly spun his 'Starships' remix and the Barbz danced in the streets with several cameras capturing the joyous moment. Apparently, the video will appear on Nokia's YouTube channel this weekend.

Meanwhile, on Monday (April 9), Minaj will chat with journalist Juju Chang on ABC's news program 'Nightline' at 11:30PM ET. The 'Beez In the Trap' vixen will talk about her upcoming world tour and her new album. Let's hope the interview will be as revealing as the one she did with Matt Lauer on the 'Today' show. Go Nicki!
