Nicki Minaj is expanding her repertoire -- and we don't just mean this morning's nipple slip. The 'Super Bass' rapper confirmed reports that she will lend her voice to the movie 'Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.'

Variety initially broke the news that Minaj would be coming aboard the animated film franchise, a fact that she confirmed on the quick on this morning's 'Good Morning America' appearance when she chatted with host Robin Roberts. "I just booked a role in 'Ice Age 4,'" she said verbatim. Is there anything that Nicki Minaj cannot do, other than get nemesis Lil Kim to like her?

Other notables in the voice cast of 'Ice Age 4: Continental Drift' include fellow divas Jennifer Lopez and Queen Latifah, as well as her Young Money cohort Drake and 'Glee' star Heather Morris. The film will be a 3D extravaganza, with a planned July 13, 2012 release date on the docket.

Since Minaj is such a colorful character in her music and on stage, and given the bubbly tone of her voice, we're thinking that her 'Ice Age' character will be as outrageous and bright as the woman who portrays her!

We predict this voice role will lead to even more film opps for Minaj. The singer also revealed on 'GMA' this morning that she will begin work on her sophomore set after she wraps her tour with Britney Spears.

Onward and upward for Nicki Minaj! 2012 could be her year even more so than 2011 was.
