Nicki Minaj has returned to Twitter and wasted no time using the messaging site to lash out at Vevo for a delay in getting her video for 'Starships' posted after its MTV premiere last night (April 26.) Rawr!

Come on, Vevo. Don't you understand that starships are meant to fly, and part of that includes the video being posted in a timely fashion? Well, not so fast. It wasn't Vevo's fault that there was a gap between the broadcast and online premieres of the rapper's latest hit.

Minaj's tweets were like nuclear warheads aimed at Vevo's official Twitter account. She was incensed and she let 'em know. However, the powers-that-be at Vevo said that the delay was due to her team not providing the video site with the assets it needed. It was classic "he said, she said."

At first, Minaj claimed that the video was in the process of being uploaded when her followers where questioning its location on the site. Then Vevo chimed in, saying that they were not in possession of the clip and telling her to check with her label, since they had no reason to lie about not having and not posting the video.

After some back and forth, Minaj claimed that "somebody [was] getting' fired" due to this snafu. Ut oh.
