Nicki Minaj looks stunning rocking a chic black bob on the cover of L'uomo Vogue magazine's October 2014 issue.

The 'Anaconda' singer is wearing an impeccably tailored suit, looking every bit as powerful and strong as her male counterparts. Perhaps that was the point. Ever the empowering female force, Nicki tells the magazine how important it is for her to demonstrate her monstrous talent as a female rapper, especially in an industry so overwhelmingly dominated by men: "At first no one took me seriously. In the world of rap, women are usually relegated to the choir. I want to build my empire. In my field, I have always seen men do it –- from Diddy to Dr. Dre to Jay-Z. Now it’s a woman’s turn.” We're with you, Nicki!

When asked about the prospect of someday having kids (side note: what's up with the baby questions!? Taylor Swift recently answered a similar question), Nicki mentions another powerful female performer as an example of who to look up to: "Seeing Beyonce with her daughter and husband was so tender, and it showed me that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a caring mother at the same time."

Beyonce is certainly the queen of demonstrating that you really can have your cake and eat it, too, so we're in full agreement with Nicki on that one. Get it, girl!
