"I didn't know that this album would entail an emotional roller coaster," Nicki Minaj admits in the trailer for her upcoming documentary for 'My Time AGAIN.'

From what we can tell, the doc is all about capturing the 'Anaconda' rapper's vulnerabilities. While fans are used to seeing Nicki's playful and sassy sides, the trailer shows a more serious perspective of her personality.

"No one could prepare for this business," she adds, as the video shows a crowd of fans screaming for her. "And until you are in it, you really can't wrap your brain around it."

While we're excited to see what Nicki has to say, we're not too surprised at the angle the documentary takes. After all, she has been vocal about going back to the basics with her new music, which is highlighted in her emotional track 'All Things Go.'

By the way, the documentary also covers Nicki's 'Anaconda' performance at the 2014 MTV VMAs, amongst many other things.

You can check out 'Nicki Minaj: My Time AGAIN' when it premieres on Jan. 18 at 10PM ET on MTV.
