Nicki Minaj ruffled a few feathers Sunday (July 9) at Scotland's T in the Park Festival. Her reportedly rude behavior at the event pissed off U.K. singer Frank Turner so much that he went on a Twitter rant and called the Harajuku Barbie a "total selfish s---head."

According to Spinner, the brouhaha stems from Minaj appearing 55 minutes late to the festival, and, according to Turner, who also was performing at the event, was rude to the stagehands backstage. "To clarify: Nicki Minaj has been a total selfish s---head to all the hardworking crew backstage at T," he tweeted. "Pathetic. F--- off. You can (I suppose) be a d--- to your own crew. You're paying them. But everyone else? And not to mention the people out front. Ugh."

Of course the Barbz (aka Minaj's fans) went on the attack defending their queen. One fan wrote in all caps, "STOP THE F---IN LIES A--HOLE !!!!!!, while another responded, "Why are you being misogynistic? Y'all can't handle a strong woman like @NICKIMINAJ sensitive a-- men."

For his part, Frank tried to explain the reasoning behind his angry "Twit-Storm" on his official website. He writes:

"I still don’t really know who Nicki (sic) Minaj is, and I don’t really care. I have no opinion on her music, for all I know she’s a genius. Good for her. The central point I wanted to make, and the thing that got me pissed off in the first place, is about respect. A lot of bands (and me) spend a lot of time talking about respect for the people who listen to your music, the people in front of the stage, the “fans” (I still hate that word) or whatever, and rightly so; personally, I feel that showing up late and not apologizing is a little weak. But the thing that got to me yesterday was more about respect for a different group of people: the crew."

In Minaj's defense, festival organizers said that her flight was delayed so Minaj's set was cut short. Also, Minaj was feeling sick and grumpy before the show. According to her Twitter timeline hours before the show, she told her Barbz that she wasn't feeling well. "Still sick but the show must go on...right? #Scotland," she tweeted. After she performed, Minaj did give a shout-out to her Scottish Barbz but mentioned nothing about Turner's pissed-off tweets. "Thank you Scotland!!!!! Mmmuuuaaahhhh!!!!!!!," she wrote.

Well, we guess that a Frank Turner and Nicki Minaj collaboration won't happen anytime soon. In the meantime, Nicki Minaj will kick off her Pink Friday Reloaded tour in the United States on July 16 in Chicago.
