Nicki Minaj Unveils Artwork for Deluxe Edition of ‘The Pinkprint’ [PHOTO]

Although the release date of Nicki Minaj's upcoming album 'The Pinkprint' was pushed back to December (sigh), the 'Anaconda' singer did treat fans to the album art yesterday (Nov. 2), and we totally love it.

Taking to Instagram, Nicki posted the image (check it out above), making sure to let fans know that the artwork is for the deluxe edition of the album. It's a pretty literal interpretation of the album title -- a pink fingerprint set against a white backdrop -- but it totally works for her, especially considering that her new aesthetic is a return to simplicity.

MTV reports that the album was designed by Kanye West’s collective, DONDA, and Nicki's caption backs that claim, saying: "This is actually the #Deluxe cover. I'll post the standard cover at a later date. #ThePinkprintAlbumCover. thank u to the Kanye West team."

Considering how much we like this one, we can't wait to see the official album cover for the standard issue. We just hope Nicki releases it soon!

'The Pinkprint' is slated for release on Dec. 15.
