Nicki Minaj vs. Kanye West + Jay-Z – Sound Off

Get it, Nicki! Ms. Minaj has been crowned the new queen of PopCrush's Sound Off series, winning yesterday's battle against B.o.B's 'Play the Guitar' with her newest single, 'Stupid H--.' Today, the Harajuku Barbie's track 'Stupid H--' will take on new daddy Jay-Z and Kanye West and their new 'Watch the Throne' single, 'Gotta Have It.'

Nicki Minaj delivers a hectic, uptempo track with 'Stupid H--.' The track is filled with sirens, whistles, hand clapping, thumping bass and no-holds-barred rhymes about female haters. During the breakdown, Minaj, who is taking on the persona of her sassy alter ego Roman Zolanski, shows off her singing skills, before the song goes into breakneck speed towards the close.

On the other hand, Kanye West and Jay-Z are slowing things down a bit with their midtempo track 'Gotta Have It.' Over a mischievous beat that combines looping Eastern-sounding "ooooh's," head-bopping drums, and distorted synth, Yeezy and Jay trade boastful verses about balling hard and getting paper. The rappers even get some help from the Godfather of Soul James Brown for the outro on 'Gotta Have It.'
