Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are taking a more serious approach in their latest clips for 'Freedom' and 'Diamonds,' respectively. Both of the women include tons of imagery, albeit quite different, in their newest moody clips, but which music video are feeling more?

In the black and white 'Freedom' video, Minaj portrays an almost Christ-like figure as she stands in a stormy wasteland wearing a gnarly crown of wires. The stark clip also includes flashes of a dilapidated ark and a haunting cross, as well as Minaj seated on a thrown and donning a huge gold crown. Soon, color starts to make its way into the scenery, with Minaj pictured in a variety of couture outfits as she raps the lyrics to her impressive 'Re-Up' track.

Meanwhile, Rihanna's video doesn't contain any religious imagery, but it does allude to her infamous relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna seems to be heartbroken as she tries to hold onto the hand of an anonymous tattooed man, who is obviously supposed to be Brown, but their grasp is broken and they are torn apart by unseen forces. There is also a whirlwind of destruction going on in her hotel room as she lays on her bed, while lots of water visuals make their way into the personal clip as well.
