The Hilton Empire’s Expanding: Nicky Hilton Rothschild’s Having a Baby

The Hilton family empire is about to see some expansion.

According to People, Nicky Hilton is pregnant with her first child. The fashion designer and style muse is "feeling great," according to a source, and is excited to become a parent with husband James Rothschild, a banker and descendant of the aristocratic Rothschild family.

The couple married last July at Kensington Palace in London after an 11-month engagement. Before the ceremony, Nicky's sister, Paris, told People the couple was a perfect fit.

"They’re so loyal and they’re so in love," she said. "They’re like a prince and princess. I think it’s important to find someone you trust and love and spent the rest of your life. I think that’s the meaning of life: to get married and have a family."

Motherhood isn't Nicky's only new frontier — she's the author of the recent 365 Style, a guide to lessons she's learned across years spent in the fashion world. According to Amazon, Nicky's never hired a stylist, and has learned to perfect a less-is-more approach to fashion that includes essential accessories and wardrobe staples.

Nicky also teamed up with Smashbox in 2015 to release three cat-eye makeup kits: one for "effortless cat-eye," another for "classic cat-eye" and another for "ultra-mod cat-eye."
