Nicole Scherzinger and 50 Cent pair up on the new single 'Right There,' a song from 'Killer Love,' the solo debut for the former Pussycat Dolls lead vocalist and possible 'X Factor' host.

The Jim Jonsin-produced pop track features Scherzinger singing, "Me like the way that you hold my body / Me like the way that you touch my body / Me like the way that you kiss my, yeah yeah yeah yeah, me like it."

We could call out Nicole for borrowing Rihanna's Caribbean-influenced vocal style, but then again, why should Rihanna have exclusive rights on that style of singing?

50 Cent's cameo adds little to the track. With red-hot hitmakers RedOne and The-Dream responsible for creating more than half the material on 'Killer Love,' we were hoping for a slightly stronger lead single. Still, with a hook that seems to grow stronger with repeated listens, 'Right There' might be good enough to earn Nicole her long-elusive American solo hit.

The long-delayed 'Killer Love' still doesn't have an American release date. Most recently, it was set for a March 21 release, but that got pushed back. 'Killer Love' was finally released in Europe in March, to moderate sales.
