Nicole Scherzinger Narrowly Dodges Wardrobe Malfunction at ‘MIB 3′ Premiere

Nicole Scherzinger, whose been off the pop music radar since being fired from 'X Factor,' popped back into our world when she wore a va-va-voom black dress to the London premiere of 'Men in Black 3' (which she stars in) on Wednesday, May 16. Why is it a big deal? Well, she narrowly dodged a wardrobe malfunction.

The black dress by Cengiz Abazoglu boasted a see-through, latticed bodice and a slit up to there, Angelina-Jolie-at-the-Oscars style. Nic was showing off a lot of leg. It was a daring ensemble, that's for sure.

While Scherzy looked good, she reportedly spent the whole evening addressing the rising slit, trying to pull it down to avoid having the dreaded malfunction which would have revealed all! How uncomfortable that must have been, to be fussing and fidgeting with a dress all night to prevent flashing the paps?

The singer was also on the arm of longtime love Lewis Hamilton -- didn't they break up? -- to promote her small role as Lilly Poison in the film.

MTV U.K. reports that Scherzinger was hesitant to comment on the announcement of new 'X Factor' judges, saying, "I'm just focusing on my music."
