When the guys of North of Nine stopped by PopCrush, we couldn't wait for them to perform their single "Can It Be You." We've kind of been listening to it nonstop ever since the band released their debut EP Alive back in March, but we were not prepared for how awesome it sounded IRL and acoustic.

While we had the pleasure of hearing the band do their warm-up vocals (picture lead singer Jackson Guthy just casually belting out some seriously kickass notes, completely a cappella) we loved the way the guys jammed as a whole, blending their vocals and instruments so seamlessly it was impossible not to rock out during the sesh.

The acoustic setting was the perfect venue to showcase the stripped-down performance. Jackson's crazy powerful voice perfectly blended with the rest of the guys' raw talent and sheer musicianship. Rock on, North of Nine. Rock the rock on.

Watch North of Nine's acoustic performance of their single "Can It Be You" in the video above, and be sure to keep it here on PopCrush for even more exclusive North of Nine content coming soon.
