Back in June, we introduced 14-year-old Swedish pop singer-songwriter Nova Miller as one of our first PopCrush Presents artists to watch.

Today, we're delighted to welcome her back...this time with the video for her brand new, super catchy new single to weather any storm: "Singin' In The Rain."

Equipped with a clear umbrella, some fluffy clouds and her super chipper voice, the pretty pop princess-on-the-rise powers through storm clouds and raindrops in the breezy, refreshingly uplifting video, channeling just the slightest hint of Cher Lloyd. (And RiRi's "Umbrella," of course. Ay, ay, ay.)

'It's just a little water' is my favorite line from the song," Nova tells us of her new track. "It's a reminder than in life, you have bad days. Crap happens. I always like to see the positive, and remember that this too shall pass, or it's just a little water. That's why I always wear a crown, as a reminder to keep my head up. This is what the song's about. For me, it's keep it moving and keep on singing. The sun will come out, I promise."

"Wait, Annie called. She wants her line back," she adds jokingly.

Jokes aside, her mission behind the song's message — much like debut track "Supernova" — is serious: "I want to rep my generation in a positive way and have a purpose as an artist," she tells us.

"Being 14, people think 'What does she know?', but we all hurt no matter how old or young. We all have insecurities and I want through my music to empower, uplift and to encourage in some way. Words are weapons they say, but music connects us all. Anyway, I just wanna make people smile. If only for a moment. I hope you like it."

Check out the video for "Singin' In the Rain" up top, and let us know what you think of Nova's latest.

And as a special treat, Nova decided to record an acoustic version of her new single just for PopCrush readers. Isn't she the sweetest? Watch below.
