Frank Ocean is the talk of the music industry and for good reason. The Odd Future crooner's open letter about his bisexuality has garnered worldwide support from his fans and fellow artists alike. When news broke, many people wondered how OF leader Tyler, the Creator would react. Well, quite frankly, he already knew and it wasn't a big deal to him.

During a chat on his FormSpring with his fans, Tyler revealed that he has known about Ocean's sexuality for while and although he is known for his homophobic lyrics, he insists that he's far from a homophobe.

"Hahaha yeah, [I've] know for a while, he told me a long time ago," he writes answering a fan's question about Ocean's news. "It was just funny cause [I] was getting bashed as a homophobe or whatever and [I] kept saying dude how am [I] one? [I] have gay friends like what the f--- leave me alone haha. Yeah thats my n---a tho, s--- is hard for him but he did that."

Not only is Tyler supportive, but so is Ocean's mother, Katonya Riley, who went on Twitter to show her support. She tweeted: "My son is brave and honest and I am very proud of him. I wish more people in the world could be brave enough to be who they really are. Thank you to all who have shown love and support. My son is the most incredible human I know. Honest, true and loving. We appreciate you!"

Several music artists also went on Twitter to salute Ocean on his courage to open up about his sexuality, including Solange Knowles, DJ Drama and Rita Ora.

"Once a brave soul opens up life doesn't seem as hard as you thought it was. @frank_ocean inspirational," wrote Ora.

"I commend Frank Ocean on his courage. I support him & will continue to be a fan of his work," tweeted DJ Drama.
