Olly Murs Deals With Nasty Break-up in ‘Dear Darlin” Video

Not all music videos about love have a happy ending, and Olly Murs‘ latest visuals for ‘Dear Darlin” prove just that. The clip opens with Olly alone in an apartment as past memories of Murs and his lady lover moving into their new house and gettin’ frisky surround the singer.

Unfortunately, the couple breaks up and both parties look like they are missing the other one with each passing scene. Murs’ ex sees ‘I Love You’ spelled out in her cappuccino and immediately looks for the British star. She passes a homeless man on the street whose sign reads ‘I Miss You’ and stares longingly into the abyss. Just as Olly tries earlier in the video, she tries to pen a ‘Dear Darlin” letter, only to crumple up the paper and throw it away. Not every relationship has that great fairy tale ending after all…
