Former 'X Factor U.K.' runner-up Olly Murs is entering the American pop market with 'Heart Skips a Beat,' a bouncy pop song featuring alternative-hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang.

Backed up by a danceable tune, Murs sings, "So come on, spin me around / Now I don't wanna go home / Cause when you hold me like this you know my heart skips, skips a beat / I know I should, but I can't leave it alone / And when you hold me like this that's when my heart skips, skips a beat."

Chiddy pipes in with a tongue-twisting verse in which he spits, "I'ma sit back and play my cards like solitaire / You and your friends come with us, like we outta there."

'Heart Skips a Beat'  hit No. 1 in England last year and earned a BRIT nomination for Best British Single. A new video for the song will premiere on June 1 on VEVO. Murs and Chiddy Bang filmed the video at the Rose Bowl sports stadium in Los Angeles, and if this Sports Illustrated Kids profile is any indication, we may be in for a soccer-themed video.

The 28-year-old Murs is getting a great opportunity to introduce himself to fans in this country as the opening act for One Direction's cross-country arena tour.
